  1. Hey there, I am sorry to hear that. I would start by checking that the pins on your motherboard's USB 3 header aren't bent or dirty, and that the connector is fully seated in the header. Lot of pins in this connection so it is fairly easy for one to get bent and not make a good connection. If that isn't the issue, we can look into sending a new front IO.

If you could please submit a ticket so that our support team can assist you.

That works, let us know how that goes and if you have any questions!

  3. Hey there, sorry to hear that. This is a false report as the cooler believes the pump is not spinning due to the 0rpm reading. As C-attack said try shutting down the system and reconnecting each of the connectors. Push the 20-pin connector firmly into the port and ensure it snaps all the way in.

If it still doesn't work, please create a ticket so we can further troubleshoot this.

I'm trying to run 8 Corsair ML Elite fans (three 140mm front intake, four 120mm side intake, one 140mm rear exhaust) and 6 ML Elite fans on my AIO (top push/pull exhaust). To accomplish this, I'm trying to run the Commander Core included with the H170i Elite LCD (for the six radiator fans) plus another 2 Commander Core XTs (1 for the four 120mm fans and 1 for the four 140mm fans), which will require 4 USB 2.0 connections. My Asus Crosshair VIII Extreme has two USB 2.0 headers so I purchased a NZXT powered USB hub and no matter what configuration I try my computer will only run two things. I tried running everything off the NZXT hub plugged into one of my motherboard headers, I tried running the included Y-splitter with the H170i on one header and daisy chaining the Commander Core XTs into the other motherboard header, and every other combination you could think of. Since the H170i Elite requires 2 USB connections that's all I can get iCue to display. If I unplug one of the AIO connections, I can see one of my Commander Core XTs. If I unplug both AIO connections iCue displays both of the Commander Core XTs. I even purchased another NZXT hub thinking I had originally received a defective one. Digging into my Device Manager I'm getting "This device cannot start. (Code 10) Insufficient system resources exist to complete the API." I tried every troubleshooting recommendation I could find. I reinstalled iCue, I flashed my motherboard BIOS to stock and back, I updated my chipset drivers, I deleted Upper/Lower registries for the unresponsive USB devices, I deleted and let Windows reinstall USB Host Controllers, and tried a fresh Windows install. Luckily the Commanders are receiving power, so all my fans are spinning, but it's annoying that I spent a lot of money building this rig and have no control over the RGB on most of my fans.

    Case - Corsair 7000D Airflow

    CPU - AMD Ryzen 5900x

Motherboard - Asus Crosshair VIII Extreme

    RAM - G.Skill 32gb (4 x 8gb) 3600 CL14

GPU - Asus ROG Strix 3080ti

Hey there, can you make sure your Chipset Drivers are installed and up to date? Also, what happens if you connect the Core XTs to each other on a USB Header on the motherboard, and then have everything else on the NZXT hub?

The insufficient system resources typically indicates that the hardware of your system (motherboard) lacks the ability to communicate with so many USB devices at once. If this is a software issue it is resolvable by ensuring the BIOS, Chipset, and ALL other drivers are up to date. You may also want to reach out to Asus as it could be a faulty USB controller on your board.

Same issue. I have a Corsair 5000X. Am trying to run x7 SP120 RGB Elite fans (3 in front, 3 on side and 1 in rear) and a Hydro iCue H150i Pro XT RGB 360mm via two daisy-chained Commander Core XTs. Have a ASUS ProArt 690 mobo with 2 USB 2.0 headers. Both Commanders work fine and show up in iCue. But as soon as I get both running, the H150i no longer shows up in iCue. I am daisy chaining the 2 Commander Cores off one USB header. The aio is going directly into the motherboard. The aio seems to be working, I just don't have any RGB control. Super annoying. I've also tried everything I can think of. None of the ASUS bloatware is installed so no conflicts there. I can't imagine way I shouldn't be able to run more than 2 Corsair devices.

Anyone else having this problem or know a solution? CrunchLab did you ever get it fixed? Thanks, all

Hey there, the Pro XT can't operate off the passthrough of the Commander Core XT, as the Pro XT needs both USB channels, and the Core XT only passes through a single USB Channel. So that explains that. However, the Commander Core XT should be able to connect to the passthrough of the other Commander Core XT without issue. Can you connect the Core XT one at a time and force a firmware update? There likely won't be an update but re-flashing can often resolve some odd issues.

Does the AIO Pro XT show in iCUE, but have no control, or does it not show at all?

Hey Travis, sorry for the absolute late reply. Yeah i know your support is doing the best as we spoke on reddit. Amazon took back all my 12 fans and i moved to another manufacturer for now. But i will come back with the next generation of fans for sure because i still love corsair. Im honest that fans made me really angry wasted tons of time. But Pc Building is also a hobby. The rest of my ecosystem is still full corsair and i like it. A nice designed corsair mic with voice monitoring would be fine, rgb mic ❤️

This issue has been addressed and replacements are showing great promise. I am sorry you have had this experience!

Elgato has the Wave and Wave.3 Mic. Not RGB, but has every other feature you would want 🙂

Considering getting the 7000D case if I can find a discount for it. It's quite expensive. I found this review for it which points out a design flaw with the cable cover. You should look into that.

Also, I have a question about the 7000D case. Is there a clear window available for it that can be bought separately? Because I personally want to actually be able to see inside the case. The window that comes with it is a very dark tint. Which is fine but it's a very subjective thing.

It appears that they are trying to hide too much of the cable and aren't allowing enough cable to allow the cable to bend before entering the Cable cover. Most people will use this area for fans/radiator but I can see where this could be an issue for some.

The White version of the 7000D has a lighter/clearer glass, but the dark tint makes RGB more diffused for dark builds and looks pretty great once completed. Currently there is not a clearer/lighter tint for the black case. I can let our case team know there is a demand, and if there is enough demand they might look into a future update. Who knows?

@Corsair Travis thanks for the suggestion.  I had the fan speeds on max and no change.  Also it was too noisy for idle so I set back to balanced.

Having side panel off also didn’t make much difference, if any.

The pump started making pinging/humming noises yesterday so I ended up replacing it today and installed a new unit.

The new unit is quieter and runs more smoothly, and a little bit cooler (5-6 degrees on idle and gaming), so I must have have a faulty unit.

Are the below temps normal? (In a controlled temp room with A/C at 26C)

    At idle:

    Liquid - 33C

    CPU - 36C

    Graphics card (3080ti) - 34C

Under max load (Cyberpunk for 1.5hrs)

    Liquid - 46C

    CPU - 67C

Graphics Card - 76C (on gaming mode setting)

Thanks again everyone for your help.

These numbers look perfectly within range, and the load for your CPU looks pretty good too!

    Anyone there? Hello?

If we cannot get the cables to clip into the power supply, we can look into replacing it for you. As for the cables not being flexible enough, I am sorry they do not meet your expectations, and for the less-than-ideal experience you have had. We will take any suggestions into consideration for future power supply designs.

  10. Hey there, thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, EATX isn't a standard, and you can grab 20 different EATX boards and they will all have different dimensions. I would suggest routing the 24-pin through the second cutout, should allow proper routing. Also, the unit comes with 2x 4x2 Pin CPU EPS Cables. The cable will break into two 4pin for you to plug into that Aux CPU 4pin header. The cables are made robust so that anybody that builds will get the performance they desire. Many these days will buy custom sleeved cables if they are looking for the highest level of style and cable management though. For performance though, you won't find better than the stock cables.

The clip should be able to clip in. This is an odd issue, and shouldn't exist. Try pulling up on the cable as you slide it in, it may just be that the plastic clip is catching before it snaps in. If it continues, we can look into replacing the unit.

Air540, while an amazing case does, follows some older design cues. Newer cases take a different approach and follow more modern build practices.

I am sorry to hear that you had a poor experience. I am passing your experience, concerns, and feedback to the Power Supply team on your behalf.
