  1. Replacement PSU now received. Since receiving returns label and shipping it off to Corsair at the end of last week, things sped up. They received the faulty PSU on Monday and dispatched replacement same day which was received the next day. There was more communication from Corsair reps on each stage of the process. Corsair, you have redeemed yourself. This is how customer service should be. Let's hope the new PSU can uphold your reputation.
  2. The day after opening this thread. Corsair has approved the RMA and supplied a prepaid returns label. Fingers crossed for a quick replacement. Now off to a DHL drop off point.
  3. Ref: 2003582823 I have a TX550m that failed suddenly. It tripped the fuse on the electric circuit. When I reset the fuse and turn it back on sparks flew out the back and tripped the fuse again. Opened an RMA ticket on the 21st Sept. Got a reply on 22nd asking if it damaged other components. I said I wouldn't know because I don't have a spare PSU to power up the PC. Since then no more emails from Corsair even though I sent them numerous emails trying to get an update. Tried the RMA request reference in the online checker, it returned 'No order found'. A 80+ Gold class PSU that failed in 5 months is poor but what's even worse is that the supposedly 7 years warranty where the company can't be bothered to support is even worse.
