My advice.. Drop the Corsair Vengeance RGB and go for the 4 x 8GB Trident Z Neo 3600Mhz CL16. I did this and was a game changer. I saw an increase in my in game FPS stock out of the box and also I was easily able to overclock it to 3800Mhz with 14-16-16-36 timing with 1.5V.

I was able to overclock my sticks to 360Mhz last night with no troubles (luckily). I have had no issues with the 4 stick layout, is that something that is an issue with Ryzen chips that I am unaware of?

Thanks LeDoyen! I ran soft tubing so i was able to pull the 2x8Pin cables back which gave the GPU support. However i will try what you have suggested over the weekend and see how it looks :) Overall the new build has been fantastic! My temps on Idle are low as 28 degrees ambient room temp. Whilst on extreme load and OC'd my ceiling temp is 65degrees which im pretty happy about :). The 680X and the 2 Rad's have definitely helped!

New Goodies: * ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR VIII HERO (WI-FI) X570 Motherboard * EKWB EK-Quantum Momentum ROG Crosshair VIII Hero D-RGB - Plexi * Additional XR5 360mm Rad * Upgraded case to 680X Let me know what you think! I have 1 Rad (Top Rad) That specifically loops back to the GPU and the Front Rad Loops into the CPU Block. Very happy with the layout. The whole thought process was that the XD5 pumps into the Front 360mm Rad and then pump into the CPU Block. Then pump back into the Smaller Rad to cool again and then pump into the GPU then back to the XD5! One issue i am facing is the tilting of the vertical mount GPU. Anyone have the same issue?

Ah makes sense! Thanks for the explanation. Hmmm now it's got me thinking if I should maybe add another Rad at the bottom. What do you think?

It's very simple. There is a one cable labelled "To RGB Hub" and one cable that is not labelled which goes to the Commander Pro on the fans. Make sure that you are connecting to the corresponding numbers otherwise you will be controlling the RPM and lights of two different fans LOL suggest you watch the youtube videos posted on the Corsair page.

Update! I finally took the punt and switched GPU's and a bit of tinkering. A bit of a noob mistake when I should've opted for this GPU in the first place however at that time funds didnt allow it. I have opted for the MSI RTX 2080Ti Ventus OC with the EK Classic RGB waterblock. I have moved my XD5 pump to the rear and removed the 2.5 and 3.5" SATA trays. I do find that my thermals are a lit bit hotter as I am guessing the XD5 is confined in a small space with no heat dissipation. I am looking to get a thermal pad and cover the pump and giving that a try. Funny thing is that if i run the pump at higher RPM's the pump increases the coolant temp but if you run on quiet mode then the coolant stays cooler????

Great build mate. I love small factor builds, especially those that are water cooled - takes a lot of effort. Thermal is always going to be an issue if you are looking to OC the Ryzen. They already run warmer straight out of the box compared to your Intel chipsets. If you're looking to OC permanently then i would recommend a mATX or Midtower case. Thermals just wont cut it in a Mini-ITX. I run the 3600X factory on default as I do not see the need to OC. Also note that AMD don't provide a lot of headroom to OC compared to Intel where you can clock from 3.8 to 5 whilst AMD will provide a headrom of 400-600MHz

Second that. Prices are bound to drop once they announce the 3000 series of the RTX cards. They are slated to be 20% faster than the 2080Ti at similar price point so prices are definitely dropping. Well let's hope so as I am waiting to purchase one.

Have you checked that the same colour is selected on iCUE? I run an all white build (please see my post) and realised my LL fans are more of a blue tinge compared to my RAM Vengeance RGB Pro's which were actually white. On a side note, what temps are you getting with your AIO? I opted for a XD5 pump running AMD 3600X and my idles can sit anywhere between 32-40 degrees C. I comprised my GPU for this type of cooling and now regretting the decision as I have an ultra wide monitor my GPU cannot push 100+FPS unless it's on 1080p

Ditch the Addlink SSD IMO. It has **** write speed and comprising performance due to lighting. Opt for the Corsair MP600 1TB which has one of the fastest read and write speeds on the market second to the Auros. x2 on ditching the sound card and ditch 2x RAM sticks with dummy. You will save at least half your money there. Also x2 on ditching the 5700 for the 2080 or even 2080TI if you can ;)

I am having a similar issue more so with my Virtousu headphones. My Mic does not work because iCue is on whilst playing Warzone. I am having to close iCue so my mic activates. So weird!!

Thanks man! Yeah I called my system the 'WhiteReaper' hahaha. I was also looking at the Samsung G7 or G9 but I just can't digest paying that much money for a screen. I opted for a Titan Army brand which uses a Samsung QLED VA panel 144hz and runs perfectly with my GPU with no hiccups. This brand is local to NZ but have heard they source from the same factory as Kogan and other online retailers. I was also worried about the warranty for my GPU but since I only opted for the RTX 2060 for now as my first build. When I get to do this again, I will spend a bit more on the GPU and opt for the 2080. Thanks for your comment!

Hi All just finished my build the other day. Let me know what you guys think. I must say, bending acrylic tubes requires a lot of skill and patience. To be honest at one point I was about to give up and just switch to soft tubing. Although I am pleased with the overall result for my first PC Build!! :)
