no feedback from corsair so far... poor PC :noooooo:

I THINK I KNOW WHAT HAPPENED from the h100i pump unit i have: 12V output from the RGB connector 5V output from the fan power supply connector The factory swaped the cables and wired the wrong connector on the wrong cable ! :mad::mad::mad: --> 5V is too low for the ML120 to start -->12V fried the RGB lights How is that even possible:eek:

forgot to say: icue does not detect the unit. i tried with usbdeview (as found in another topic) and it doesn't see it either. tried rebooting, same problem. tried a different usb motherboard connection, same problem.

Hello all, i wanted to add another corsair product to my rig, in addition to my power supply, case, and RAM. so i bought an H100i rgb platinium, and I have a lot of issues with it: after wiring as per the manual, and at first startup: pump unit illuminated, all fans are off and not illmuniated (well actually one fan is half illuminated green and blinking..., while the other is completely off) I made some test: 1/ RGB test as i have a 460X i have an old RGB HUD. i tried plugging the fan RGB cable in here, and same result: one half green and blinking, the other without light. 2/ RGB still i tested the output of my 460X RGB hub, i have 5V between pin 1 and 4 i tested the output of my (defective ?) H100i pump cable for RGB connection: i have 12V between pin 1 and 4 ???! i just double checked, i confirm the 12V is from the pump cable made to connect the rgb cable of the fan ? 3/ fan not working (not spinning) i unplugged the h100i connection and tested with my only available SYS_FAN : it works, they spin, both of them work... 4/ fan again: i plugged my 3 pin SP120 fan into the corsair h100i and... it works... at this point i realise the corsair fans do work on the motherboard connection, and the SP120 case fan do work on the H100i, but trying to plug the ML fans (from h100i kit) to the H100i cable from the pump is not working. i have a start of something at some moments, maybe2/3 seconds of spinning, then it stops, then if i tweak it a little more it start again... and stops. Like a bad contact ? this is crazy... i've opened a ticket of course, but i'd like to know your feedback on these problems. to me it is very surprising to have an issue both on the fans (RGB not working) AND on the pump (bad power supply to ML fans) Thanks in advance for your feedback a clueless pc enthousiast
