  1. As I am currently in the process of returning the headset is there any ETA on firmware and/or software fixes? Because if not, I will return it right now as long as I can regarding the fact that for a 210 Euro headset the software and firmware related issues are just abysmal.
  2. I will put it very short. The hardware build quality is excellent, the firmware and software is plain crap and I am just in the process of returning mine. Especially for $200 or €200 I expect a nearly flawless experience and this just isn't it. Should have listened to a friend who recommended a Razer Nari but my last Corsair headset (HS1) lasted for 8 years and still has a better mic and software than this PoS. My experience with the HS1 was great but it lead me to believe, Corsair still builds first class headsets.... Audio quality is very subjective but for my taste it lacks depth even after trying to compensate with the EQ in the software. For 50mm drivers the audio performance is just poor plus the mic is very low on volume. As I said initially, the build quality and comfort is superb, but that doesn't help if the soft- and firmware is crap. Of course that's only my opinion, but if you have a look at the last few pages of the big Virtuoso thread in this forum, you might get an idea of how many people currently have issues with that thing.
  3. Just my 2 cents: I have the headset for about a week now and experience exactly the same issues as follows: - crackling sound/static noise when using wireless mode - no audio output when trying to use wired mode, mic works fine though - no percentage value for battery makes it very difficult to estimate the remaining run time - very short charging/connecting cable - very, very basic software compared to other brands (e.g. Razer, Roccat) To sum it up, I am very disappointed with the headset. The build quality is excellent but everything else (software, firmware, issues described above) is absolutely abysmal regarding the price asked. As I am not willing to perform as a alpha/beta tester for Corsair, I will send it back to Amazon and write a review reflecting these issues I have and probably giving it 1-2 stars. I am very disappointed, because my last Corsair headset (HS1) lasted for about 8 years and still has a better mircrophone and software than this one here. It really is a shame but I won't buy any Corsair products anymore in the future because of the experience with this headset and the slow reaction times of Corsair regarding all these issues with their supposed-to-be high end headset.
