  1. Any custom loop should have a drain installed. Just flush it with DI water. This process is usually done on the first day doing your LEAK TEST whoch recommended by the manufacturer in the manual for your pump. They usually provide a power jumper for the board so only your pump is running the loop.
  2. Hello Looking for some "advice". I have the XG7 2080 FE rev.B waterblock and a 2070 Super EVGA i think its a black edition. Yes its compatible. My question is; i assembled the block just fine but i noticed the thermal pads on the WATERBLOCK dont match the ones on the card. Specifically the the VRM, it covers the first row of sorry if im mistaken i think they are capacitor or inductor but DOES NOT cover the next 2 rows, Mofsets etc. The EVGA card has termal pads on these but the waterblock does not. Should i transfer over the EVGA thermal pads so they make contact with the waterblock before installing??
  3. Thanks for the reply Mike. Just a bit hectic with all the different types of cards and blocks. I ordered the card based on the 2080 FE so when i seen the rev.b not compatible i was  thanks again for the response and clearing that up. The water block is the last piece of my corsair ecosystem so im stoked to get it up and running.
  4. Hello Greg Need your wisdom. I purchased a EVGA 2070 super black 08G-P4-3071. its listed as compatible with the XG7 2080 FE but NOT with the rev.b. Please tell them are cross compatible and that's a website error?? If its listed as compatible with the 2080 FE should it not work with the rev.b as well? I thought they were created to increase compatibility.
