  1. Hi, I had the exact same problem. Ordered a replacement and it also has the same problem. I think the pump design is flawed and is getting air trapped inside the pump housing hence the clicking. If you lay your case flat on the table does the sound disappear? There seems to be a lot of people with this problem now. Hopefully corsair will acknowledge it.
  2. Both of my units did the exact same when I layed them down flat there was no noise. I presume the air buble is rising to the centre of the pump when we do that. I wonder if its just a bad batch? Does yours still make the noise but much less frequent 'ticking' when in balanced mode?
  3. Hi, I am in the exact same boat as you. I have now had 2 H115i RGB Platinum's both with the same issue. Sadly I think its a design flaw with the coolit pump. I spoke to corsair customer service and they suggested all the usual - shaking the rad, moving the case while the pump is running, running with case on side over night qith pump on extreme etc etc. I have been unable to release the air bubbles from the pump. I am sadly at the stage where I am looking at going with a different brand or getting a noctua. Between me and my father we have had 6 corsair AIO's and all have been fantastic. Would be a shame to have to move away from them.
  4. Hi guys, I am having the exact same issue. I am onto my second H115i RGB platinum both with this issue. I have now even tried running the AIO externally off the socket to try and get rid of the bubbles but no matter where I move, shake or tap the horrible ticking sound still occurs. I think it must be an issue with the new CoolIT designed pumps. @doblez did you manage to get a unit that works?
  5. Hi All, I bought a new H115i RGB Platinum last week. Once installed it was clear there was a large anount of air stuck in the pump. When running on quiet profile in iCUE this was audible over all my case fans. The noise sounds like a constant ticking or crackling. As other have suggested I took the cooler off and gave it a good tap and shake to try and dislodge any air pockets. This did not help. I then returned the unit to amazon and they sent me a new one. Upon installing the new one it had exactly the same problem. Quiet mode and balanced mode profiles were extremely noisy with the pump turning silent when put in extreme mode. Both myself and my father have owned over 6 AIO's from corsair and never experienced this level of noise from a pump. Again as others have suggested this noise goes away when the case is layed flat.I am mounting the 280mm rad in the front of the case (275R) with the tubes at the top (higher than the pump). Can anyone give me any confidence in buying a 3rd cooler? I suspect amazon wouldnt let me return a 3rd one. I was temped to buy the H115i Pro XT but I am pretty sure its the exact same CoolIT pump design and could have a similar problem. Thanks in advance for any advice or thoughts!
