I was just on the phone for over an hour with support on why Corsair started manufacturing their H150i with only a positive FAN TAC lead wire. I have a H150i that failed so I got another one and it had only a positive wire. My original H150i had both a positive and negative wire(like every other fan cable made). I returned the unit because I thought it was a defect but now the second replacement also has only one wire. My old unit worked fine when it worked but this new unit lights up red indicating a problem and there is also an error on my Asus Hero XI.
Does anyone know how to get this to work because it seems it is by design from Corsair. My case is being escalated because the tech I was talking to didn't know why this cable was like this either. It would be nice if they amended their user manual.
