Hi, I had this exact same issue with my hs70. What I actually did to fix this issue was basically switching USB ports. The back ports on my motherboard didn't want to change the EQ, but the USB port on my k70 RGB lux worked perfectly fine. Try changing USB ports or try it out on another pc and see if it also has that issue.
