  1. Just wanted to add that I'm also experiencing QC issues with my case, before reading this thread I thought that it was an issue with my table but my 680x does teeter on the table unless I put a shim under it. My biggest issue so far is that the PCIE slot screw holes do not align with the GPU holes. Multiple other posts I've seen have the same issue with this case. It means I need to add force to the back of the case in order to get the screws to line up, which puts unneeded pressure on my GPU / MOBO. I tried to go the RMA route but they take at least 1 week for a response, so I'm not going to waste my time with an RMA. I've already purchased a brand new one from Newegg to see if it has the same issues. If not, I'm going to transfer my build into the new case. If yes, simply I'll return it to them. I personally would never buy anything directly from corsair, they aren't an experienced retailer when it comes to direct sales as evidenced by their poor customer support / RMA turnaround.
  2. Is there any negative side effects of keeping the pump on "extreme" mode in icue and leaving it like that for the lifetime of the system? Also what's the warranty period on the H115i platinum?
  3. Zotty you're a freaking legend man! This clears up so much for me
  4. 3xLL120 (front case) 2xRGB 140 fans from h115i rgb (top case) 2xLL 140 (bottom Case) 4xLed strips chained will all this fit on one commander or do I need 2? assume that I need to power the fans from the commander
  5. I'm planning on top mounting the 280mm rad to the 680x case. Looking at all the pics of completed builds i can't find one that uses a 280 rad... all i've seen use the 240mm rad which looks like they fit nicely... (this is someone else's build on PC part picker, demonstrating that a 240 rad fits fine) I'm wondering if there will be any clearance issues with the front mounting fans interfering with the tubing from the top mounted 280 rad? I don't really trust the radiator compatibility specs that show on the 680x product page since I was doing research into possibly using a 360 rad in the front like the product page says it supports, but every build that I see on PC part picker that uses this 360 front config stated that there were clearance issues with the top mounted fans and they had to mount their top fans on the outside of the case closer to the glass....
  6. I'm leaning towards cleaning off the thermal paste on the corsair H115i RGB Platinum and applying my own Arctic Silver 5 to the CPU instead. What are your thoughts on this? It's for a 9900k
  7. Trying to decide between the two, what are the pros and cons of each? Which one has newer tech? https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Productcompare.aspx?CompareItemList=575%7C35-181-152%5E35-181-152%2C35-181-138%5E35-181-138

Thanks for the response, yes if I were to go with anything other than the 360 it would be top mounted since gpu clearance is also tight if you front mount any rad. Since my build is somewhat white themed I was thinking of going with the only white rad that corsair sells (Corsair Hydro Series, H100i RGB PLATINUM SE 240mm) but they don't make a 280mm white rad, do you think it would be ok to run a 5ghz overclock with just a 240mm or is a 280mm a minimum cooling requirement? (9900k)

Hello, I'm considering getting this case with a 360 h150i like you but now I'm worried that it will be a tight fit, would you recommend going with a 280mm in the top instead? This is for a core i9 9900k 5ghz build. In youtube videos you can see the 240mm rad fits nicely on top but I'm also worried that the 280 rad will cause front fan clearance issues?
