The pumps are set to run at full speed. The setting cannot be changed. My pump runs at full speed all the time as well. -
SUMMERTIME HEAT: How is your PC surviving?
LadyLucy0 replied to Corsair Crimson's topic in Battlestation and Build Showcase
Cotton Candy, It shifts from purple to blue. I will take off the glass panel so i can get some better pics. I also need to get the other side panel off to show you the back cable managing that was a chore... "less cables please..." When i get some time i will take a post the pics to the build forum. That forum could really use some more middle of the road system builds. :]- 24 replies

Motherboard? PSU? Or my own dumb?

PSU is the cheapest place to start, Hope the test says It's a brick. Good Luck. -
Getting random crashes while gaming
LadyLucy0 replied to duffy4ya01's topic in Build Hardware Troubleshooting
Check your Memory. Try to boot your system with 1 stick only. If it boots that stick is good shut it down and try another. On and on till you test them all. You could have a single bad stick and when the game tries to use that stick it's game over. If you have a large enough kit of memory you could never use the bad stick in normal desktop stuff. -

Sorry to hear about your PC, Water damage is not fun to fix. Got a friend you can borrow a PSU from? I keep a spare just for testing. One run on the PSU could be damaged and the rest ok, It happens. The PSU is the best and cheapest place to start. Good Luck, And I'm hoping it's the PSU. -
Short answer, Yes. I wouldn't have spent 3 hours cable managing Sophie if i didn't. Please for the love of all that is holy, Figure out less cables...

Once a week for me. Pull all the filters canned air duster off all filters, Rad, and interior. I live in South Mississippi, So dust plus humility equals death. "its also why i have a H150i elite 360mm water cooler on my 2700x." Its very very hot here ok... Takes all of 10 mins, Trust me you have the time. Morons on the internet piss you off, Clean your PC, Its very relaxing. Far easier to "keep it new" then try to fix "dusty and busted".

6 corsair ML fans and and a H150i elite 360mm rad. Sophie's doing fine so far. I overspent on my cooling a little, But being in South Mississippi, "heat and humility" On cooling for a PC it's "pay now or pay later"... Frontloading the expense seemed by far the better option. Sophie seems to be very happy with the decision i made. :]- 24 replies
