  1. Thanks Devbiker, all sorted now. It seems the trick i was missing was to eject the drive after cutting and pasting the firmware. I didn't have a new firmware for it but a simple cut and paste of the existing one seemed to do the trick. Thanks again and all the best for the new year!
  2. Thanks for the reply DevBiker, very much appreciated - especially today of all days! There's a file on there called firmware.bin, at the moment though removing and replacing the usb connection has the effect of simply unpluging and re-pluging the usb drive. Also I cant see anything in my device manager that's needing a firmware upgrade. I've tried every combination of button press i can think of too, by that I mean from a simple press to keeping it pressed while inserting either usb or power connection etc.
  3. Hi all, I'm having a problem with an old lighting node pro in that i was intending to upgrade the firmware on it but when I connected it up it's not being recognised by ICUE and instead is now showing as a 128kb usb drive under the name CRP DISABLD. On the drive is a 128kb file called firmware.bin. With a bit of googling I found this has happened before with other devices and a firmware file would seem to need to be downloaded and placed in the usb drive but I can't find anywhere or anyway of downloading the firmware file unless it's directly to the device through ICUE, which isn't much help at the mo as the device isn't being recognised. Anyone please have any ideas how I can resolve the problem? thanks in advance
