  1. Why are all my motherboard sensors and fan speeds gone in the new update if iCue 4. Is there one version of iCue that does not render the Nexus useless.
  2. Solved. just by selecting the first ICON from predefined icons.
  3. This is the most simple solution, but hasd to be done after every install. My solution just simply made iCue load before ASUS takes over. But afgter upgrade to v4 myself, i found this solution more simple.
  4. How can I get my icons back on my buttons after upgrade from iCue 3 to iCue 4? Now all Icons are blank and i do not see any icon what matches my applications i use in Nexus like Word, Excel, Access. Outlook, Steam, Origin, Autocad...
  5. Yes but they do not make it easy to build a new case with new products. I just want a new case with 7 fans all rgb and a 3 fan AIO but there is no way to understand what products you need. And I don't want to end up like my first Cordair build that I have to return my fans to the shop because they could not be combined on a single lightning node.
  6. Now i am curious what to order because i am doubting between a new Corsair Build or a NZXT build. I feel a little disapointed in Corsair at the moment by the whole iCue 4 thing and killing my devices by making them "commercial aged". I want the following setup: CC-9011213-WW iCUE 5000X RGB Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX PC Smart Case — White CW-9060051-WW iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX Liquid CPU Cooler — White CO-9050137-WW iCUE SP120 RGB ELITE Performance 120mm White PWM Fan — Triple Pack with Lighting Node CORE ML120 PRO RGB LED 120MM PWM Premium Magnetic Levitation Fan — Single Pack My setup will be following: Radiator + 3x ML 120 in top 1 x ML 120 in back (why can't I buy a white one?) - controlled by own node 3 x SP 120 elite RGB front - controlled with supplied node 3 x SP 120 elite RGB white at side - controlled with supplied node 1 x Node pro in trash Is this a good config or do i mis something. For example, do I have to buy? CC-8900526 iCUE 5000X PSU Shroud Extension Cover, White Or is there a better solution like CC-9011213-WW iCUE 5000X RGB Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX PC Smart Case — White CW-9060051-WW iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX Liquid CPU Cooler — White CO-9050137-WW iCUE SP120 RGB ELITE Performance 120mm White PWM Fan — Triple Pack with Lighting Node CORE CO-9050136-WW iCUE SP120 RGB ELITE Performance 120mm White PWM Fan — Single Pack and find a way to hook up all USB devices. Or: 1x CC-9011213-WW iCUE 5000X RGB Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX PC Smart Case — White 1 x CW-9060051-WW iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX Liquid CPU Cooler — White 3 x CO-9050091-WW LL120 RGB 120mm Dual Light Loop White RGB LED PWM Fan — Single Pack 1 x CO-9050092-WW LL120 RGB 120mm Dual Light Loop White RGB LED PWM Fan — Triple Pack with Lighting Node PRO 1 x CO-9050091-WW LL120 RGB 120mm Dual Light Loop White RGB LED PWM Fan — Single Pack Only i have the feeling something is not well. Or go with: 1 x CC-9011213-WW iCUE 5000X RGB Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX PC Smart Case — White 3 x CO-9050136-WW iCUE SP120 RGB ELITE Performance 120mm White PWM Fan — Single Pack 1 x CW-9060051-WW iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX Liquid CPU Cooler — White 1 x CO-9050075-WW ML120 PRO RGB LED 120MM PWM Premium Magnetic Levitation Fan — Single Pack 1 x CC-8900526 iCUE 5000X PSU Shroud Extension Cover, White Control 6 fans with included commander and pwm controller, Control 3 radiator fan's and extra exaust fan (ML120) with the controller of the AIO.
  7. i have a "H100i V2" in an alternate setup in my Corsair 460X. Because to the dimm setup I run the radiator in front behind the standard SP120 Led fan's of the case. See photo: I control the 2 fan's with my standard CPU and CPU_OPT connectors and this works real great in conjunction with Asus FanXpert. I use my Nexus to monitor water temperature and that works great. Never discovered issues with this setup. Although it does not work with iCue 4 where i lose my water temperature monitoring and led control. I use the led on the cooler to see if CPU temp goes above 90 degrees C. Because I want a bigger case I doubt between Corsair 5000X or NZXT. And I love the Z73. And when i switch my AIO to NZXT why not switch entire ecosystem.
  8. Damn, after my downgrade to iCue 3 everything works... Except my..... Mouse :( Not displaying in iCue anymore :(
  9. Today I accidentally upgraded iCue 3 to 4. The upgrade was done nicely but there where some issues, so I went back to iCue 3. Issue one, temp reading of AIO water in Nexus not working anymore: My H100i V2 is not supported, i drive the fan's with my motherboard (ASUS) CPU and CPU_OPT so that is no issue, but I cannot read the water temperature on my iCue Nexus and that is a problem. Also the RGB is not working on my H100i V2 and that I use for temperature alerting. So at least temp monitoring and led control would be nice, without it I cannot live. Issue two, Icons of buttons in Nexus disapeared. All my buttons have custom icons or application Icons on my Nexus, after upgrade to iCue 4 they where gone. Issue three, Sensors on Nexus not working and cannot be renamed. I use my Nexus to guard many system functions, like temperatures, fan speed and many more. In iCue 3 I doubleclick on one, or example Temp #1 and rename it to MB Temp. In iCue 4 this does not work, it still displays on my Nexus as Temp #1 and in the iCue interface i suddenly i see both. After reboot the second is gone, but still no renamed on my display. Issue four, Important sensors are gone. In iCue 3 I have a screen to watch my NVME drives, in iCue 4 they report 0 degrees. Issue five, Automatic profle switching crashes iCue. I like it when I start a game, my profile switches and I get another keyboard led assignment, mouse sensetivity is adjusted, pump of my AIO changes, special Nexus screen for that game.... But 2 out of 3 times iCue 4 crashes and i have to quit game, restart iCue and hope for the best. Issue six, Nexus freezes during gameplay for seconds Nexus watches some things of my system during gameplay, like CPU, GPU, NVME, water temps. But it is total unreliable because sometimes my Nexus freezes for 5 seconds during gameplay, and on an OC R9 9550X with 20% load on CPU this should not be the case. In iCue 3 this also was no problem. Issue Seven, Nexus font sizes. Cannot be changed and are way to big. Issue Eight, the user interface In iCue 3 we did know what the happens with the left pane when we select a device. It shows the profiles and you see heads like Actions, Lighning effeffects, hardware lightning, perfomance et cetera. Each section was nicely seperated and it was obviouis that it contained something, it also represented an icon. In iCue 4 you just get a list of text, what not even close can be identified as a dropdown, submenu, link or other thing. It is totally not good, and when you have 10 devices it is a hell navigating. I do research for companies as a consultant on usebillity of software and I think Corsair should hire a GUI expert for their new iCue 4. Because from a user view, it is the worst piece of software I ever have encountered. Just a simple tip, if a user cannot accomplish his action within 3 mouseclicks, or cannot identify the route to the action within 2 mouseclicks, it is rubbish and uses go away from it. Edit: After watching some iCue 4 video's i wonder when those interface options are implemented. For example the white bar on the left when navigating over items. Like in one video they hover over a "device" and an menu appears on it, in the version i installed this was not happening like my iCue 4 version was missing a lot of inteface things.
  10. Actually in the European Union we can demand that a supplier has software and firmware support up to 5 years after last sell date. So if a product is sold by Corsair in 2018 they should support it until 2023. But i am not an expert in that, but there are rules for that.
  11. Ok, I am not someone who is against progress, but Progress means: Something new must be better then the product it is replacing. iCue 4 is defenately not that. User Interface: Totally unworkable, special when you own a iCue Nexus Stability: Not able to run an hour before crashing Wokability: Need more steps to get something done and not even sure if it works Lots of bugs: Like rename a sensor, does not work, you can rename it but on my iCue it still reads Temp #1 for example. I don't know who decided to replace iCue 3 with iCue 4. But I was surprised when I did see my iCue 3 replaced with iCue 4 this morning and lost approx 65 settings on my Nexus. Not even to mention my icons and backgrounds.

  13. Issue solved, because my MP600 died (after 11 months lifetime) I restored my system on my Brand New Samsung and have all screens back.
