  1. Bloody hell.. I thought I was having problem. Just so you are aware and it might help, you can run more than one Lighting Hub off of the LED channels on Commander Pro. The control wire that leads from the Hub to the LED Channel just solder the four wires in 2 pairs and crimp the female PCB connection terminal. .Obviously you must make sure that you pair up the correct two wires. The black wire with grey/white line is the furthest from the arrow on the connection housing , but don't tell any one I told you. xl...out
  2. And now its going up for sale....because I'm going to build the same sort of build with a glass case but I'm going to fabricate the metal work myself ..out of Aluminium. My mate has a guillotine and a fly press, I'm looking forward to the project tbh. I can design my own case in my workshop. Its going to have a double skin base and most of the middle wall cut away so you can see right through it. All the cabling will be run between the double skin in the base and side uprights. Its going to have a Z370 MB, with a Coffee Lake CPU. HD140 RGB fans to the front and top and completely AIO Cooling. I'm going to tie it all in so ALL the RGB runs off one piece of software. Its going to be the daddy of all PC'S xl...out
  3. Like all good stories there has to be a happy ending... Not only does it look pretty it bites as well- BF1 all graphic settings on very high and resolution 4K 3840 X 2160. GPU temp does not go over 67 degrees. GPU fan doesn't kick in till 55 degrees and runs at 120 FPS solid. Bit disappointed about the cables tbh, for what they cost me they should really pop, but more of a fizzle... Everything up a running fine, its been flat out for 6 hours and still purres like a kitten. Also surprisingly quite considering all the air that's being moved about by those 12 fans that are in there :) http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/320x240q90/924/9NFz34.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/320x240q90/924/4kFwa2.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/320x240q90/923/XjjrFe.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/320x240q90/923/2pk6Sl.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/320x240q90/923/2pk6Sl.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/320x240q90/922/paAGqY.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/320x240q90/923/2pk6Sl.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/320x240q90/924/n24mKt.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/320x240q90/924/IRJBwX.jpg xl...out
  4. I realise that I may have been a little quick on the draw and probably jumping to the wrong conclusions regarding the whole Commander Pro /Lighting Node Pro (I wont use the word argument), lets say it was a heated discussion ? I went off at Dustin, that was uncalled for and I apologise not knowing the full facts. I have now been informed that a third party wrote the software for the Commander Pro and Lighting Node, Dustin has been put in charge of sorting out someone else's shoddy workmanship and put himself in the firing line, my hat is off to you mate. I would also like to thank whoever it was that passed my feelings on to Corsair about the faulty Commander Pros I have had.... in the post this morning I received a brand new Commander Pro Direct from Corsair. There not a bad bunch of chaps after all.:laughing: xl......out
  5. I have used 4 Commander Pros; 2 have been returned, I borrowed 1 from a friend and I have a new CP fitted. I have used 3 different lighting hubs and about a week of my life trying to figure this problem out. I do not know “code” or how to diagnose a computer problem.. The PC is running fine so I’ll leave it alone... until I get bored and start adding to it again :biggrin: Xl...out
  6. Update: The Commander Pro and the Lighting Node Pro turned up from Scan, when I opened the boxes the one of the lighting strips have been folded in half to fit in the box and it had been folded right on the acrylic Corsair logo thus nearly tearing it in half.. I contacted Scan FOR RMA so the Lighting Node went back....The Commander Pro it would seem was fine. I connected it all up with lighting hub, only 2 fans were working, Channels 1 & 2. So I tried my second lighting Hub in COM Pro LED Channel 2... Once again on 2 channels working on the Hub ???? So I tried the 3rd lighting hub that I have and that to would only have power on channels 1 & 2... 3 hubs all only working on channels 1 & 2 ??? I couldn't be bothered to send the Commander Pro back so I crimped another 2 wires in to connector for channel 2 on Com Pro and had 2 Hubs working off channel 2 and 1 hub working off channel 1. So its all good. I have all 6 HD120 RGB working lovely .. xl...out
  7. Isn't that going to cause a problem with the filter screen ? Are you trying to put the buttons on the other side or turn them 180 and have them on the other side at the rear ?? xl...out
  8. Damn I didn't know they made them !! that would have sorted out all my problems last week...
  9. That Gainward GPU cover is a poxy colour, that's coming off for a respray this week, its going to be bright red to match the red in the cabling (if it ever gets here )
  10. Both Tickets received an Automated Response the following day, saying a member of Corsair staff would be in contact with me within 48 hours. Its too late now it has gone back to Scan for refund...but thanks for taking the trouble to look at my case. Much appreciated. ;) xl....out
  11. Hi Guys- Here's a few snaps of PC i have just (nearly) finished. Just waiting on CustomCables from the States Specs - Corsair 570X Tempered glass case.. i7-7700K CPU Asus X270E Gaming M/B G.Skillls Trident Z RAM RGB 16 GB 3600MHz Gainward GTX 1080 Ti Phoenix Golden Sample HX 750 W Platinum PSU Fractal Design S36 AIO CPU Cooling System Samsung 250GB EVO PCI eXP SSD Toshiba N300 4TB NAS HD 4K 28 inch WS Monitor 6 x Corsair HD120 RGB fans 3 x Fractal Design Super Quite fans 1 Commander Pro 3 (Yes 3) Corsair Lighting Hubs 1 Lighting Node Pro (Damaged sent back replaced today) I really enjoyed the build, did a lot of messing about with case. 13. Dustin.... Having been called in to sort this lot out, I hope they are paying you well if not THEY SHOULD BE !!!
  14. My apologise for not getting your name correct, that's the age and the eye sight. OK.. everything being said its time to sort out my Fan problems (Hopefully) Does the Lighting Node Pro suffer from the same problems as the Lighting Hub and the Commander Pro ? I have a new Commander Pro and Lighting Node coming today. Should I update any of the firmware on either or just leave then be ? Also what version of Link do you recomend I should use to run fans and now lighting strips ? Should I d/l Link and then fit hardware or hardware first then d/l Link ?? Is there any order to connect up Commander Pro, Lighting Node, Fans, LED strips. in that order. USB TO MB then SATA power leads. OR just connect it all up and flick the switch ??? lol Thanks Deane
  15. Is the guy your talking about Red ray by any chance ? I have been reading loads of his posts... the man's a super geek, instead of banning him from what I can read they should employ him. I am majorly disappointed with Corsair products and there software tbh. I always thought they were a solid company with good backup. Christ they charge enough, there gear isn't cheap and some of it is of outstanding quality, but the support is shocking. I cant even get a reply to my post or the ticket I put in..... I feel now I am going to find another solution to my cooling and lighting. Corsair you have let yourself down BADLY.. Deane
