  1. Give me your new model with a 3080/3090 and take my money... take it NOW!!!.... like right now. Anyone else feel this way? LOL
  2. This video says it all. [ame]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2upZSyQHwNA[/ame]
  3. Hey Stevery, if you are savy and if I were you, I would open up the motherboard side (right side if your looking at the front) and start with making sure all connectors going to the motherboard (specifically power) are on their tight. This happened to me once and I have the same model as you. Make sure its not plugged in =)
  4. I've been a member here since the beginning of the C1, love you guys, but this must be said, and hope you guys at Corsair are already on it.... Corsair I just want to say that good on your guys for realizing the coming of the new 3000 series and doping the price tag $500 on the i165 and similar discounts on other models, but I must mention this. A $500 reduction in price is not going to cut it, your charging $3000 before tax for the i165 which cannot compete a $2000 build that can easily out-perform the I165 with a 3070 costing around $500ish. NVIDIA REALLY rocked the market with this 3000 release. To my point, Corsair please consider doping the prices on current gaming PC's even further. Anyone buying Corsairs current C1 Line understand your getting Hardware that is no longer the freshest on the market, but will be paying a pretty fresh premium for a "new" PC. The value you get with the higher line of C1's currently available is at a new low and makes absolutely no sense to buy. The 2080TI costing $1200ish alone is OUT-PERFORMED by a $500ish 3070. That's a $700 difference in price/performance!!! If I may, to bring value back to the customer and also help get rid of that increase in inventory you may soon see, I would NOW knock an additional $500+ of all your machines with 2000 series NVidia card to make up the difference in value that now just entered center stage from NVIDIA. An I 165/I164 at this point makes no sense for anything more than $2500, and thats AFTER tax. I cannot imagine anyone buying most high end models at this time unless they are either in an absolute need right now of a compact PC, or honestly... they're just ignorant to the current market and tech available. Customers are crying out for UPGRADE kits. If Corsair were to implement this I'm sure a lot of customers would be happy and CONTINUE their loyalty to the brand and the C1.
  5. Definitely will be waiting for your next model with the NVIDIA 3000 series GPU's. After the 3000 series reveal today, it's a no-brainer for me to wait. These new cards are just soo much more powerful then the 2080TI, AND also more powerful then the TITAN's which is extremely impressive. The PCB itself is actually a lot smaller than I thought so I believe it will be more than possibly to fit into the C1. Performance custom cooling will be the biggest challenge for the Engineers at Corsair to overcome, not only for the die but also the challenge of keeping it all cool with all those new GDDR6 memory modules and pulling over 300-350W!!! This thing is going to get HOT! Trust me, I'll be one of your first customer's when you release this thing, definitely looking to upgrade. Currently running the Original C1 from when it was first released, with the 1080GTX and 7700K still loving it! I take really good care of her.
  6. Dear Corsair, I know it's early, but many of us would like to know right now if they're any plans to release an updated version of the C1 before the end of the year? We see a lot of specials on the store front right now and would like to be able to make a smart decision. Is now a good time to buy with a release far far away or is there possibly something waiting around the corner in the next 3-4 months? With the new NVIDIA 3000 series and upcoming AMD GPU's out this year, curious if there are any plans to release something in the next coming month's. Thank you in advance for any response to help make a decision. -Justin
  7. Good find Warlordnik, thanks for being able to get us the answer.
  8. We're looking at a leaked image of the new NVIDIA 3090 vs a RTX 2080. This card not only looks to be much larger in size, but now TRIPLE bay requirement from before the 2080 and previous C1 generations took only 2 bays. The question is, will Corsair be redesigning the Corsair One to accommodate the large size of these new cards? Will AMD follow suite with this new large form as well? Is this now the end of the Corsair One as we know it with its amazing small form factor? Corsair and friends, what are your thoughts of this? Looking to you now C1 Engineers, lets see if you can do it again.
  9. $3000 is actually pretty good price you guys got going on with what u get in a 165 series. I added up many of the major components and its came out to like around $2600ish, and the fact its got a lot of custom stuff going on and a really unique case makes up for the rest for sure. Nice price Corsair.
  10. So I see the price for the 165 dropped an additional $200 overnight. Down from $3500 to $3200 and now to $3000. Can I still use that 10% off coupon and still get another $300 off that price to $2700 before tax and shipping?
  11. Hey Corsair just curious if any news of major discounts coming with the upcoming 3070, 3080, and 3090 series GPU's coming out next month? I saw that some products were reduced with a "special price" but still to rich for my blood for a build with a GPU that's about to take a back seat, like the third row back seat, here real soon.
  12. What component specifically is overheating potentially? When fans kick on high looking at Corsair Link, is there anything above 70c to 75c? Or even higher????
  13. Man, if Corsair did like a 20 percent discount on current models when the new series arrives, that be a really good incentive to get rid of current inventory. =)
  14. Pretty much what the title says. Corsair, we know its coming, this year before Christmas I assume? Any heads up be appreciated. You know I'm there. No reason to buy a C1 now with the 3000 series droping from Nvidia in a couple months.
  15. Hey Rolecks... lol yea I have the same issue. Once you drop a M.2 into one of these bad boys they get realllly hot really fast. I usually have my fan set to max through Link when I'm gaming and then just have it at default otherwise.
  16. Yea good call out. Corsair, whats your response to what Jay said? He called out the internal cables being not up to spec with the rest of the hardware saying its a flaw in the design pretty much. Has this been addressed? This guy has been doing PC's for decades he knows what he's talking about.
  17. Great point Corsair Mint. Yea I would only recommend these types of Mods if your warranty has expired. If not do not attempt your warranty will be void. Also keep in mind if your break any of your original parts, good luck getting a replacement from Corsair, most parts in the C1 are either custom/specialty items not available for resale.
  18. I hear yah Resseh, I've come to understand once your warranty is up... good luck... that's Corsair's deal. Mostly all parts on the C1 are either custom variations or not available for sale to the public. That fan shouldn't be too difficult to replace. Just need to find one online you like with similar dimensions and power reqs.
  19. Look at your sticker on the PSU itself, it only effects Lot Codes 194448xx to 201148xx.
  20. Thanks for the reply Corsair Mint, hope that answers your questions Alawliet.
  21. did you comp come with Corsair Link originally? If so what version are you running?
  22. I didn't I was fine but you might want to download a version of either ICUE or if you have it Corsair Link before you do that. The C1 wont function properly with this software. Downlaod it on a USB disk or harddrive before you wipe em. I deleted and reformed all partitions and I was fine. Just make these back ups from the Corsair site before you do.
  23. I deleted all my partitions and just left drive 1 and 2 with just primary unless u got stuff saved on them u want... back it up.
  24. If you guys havn't seen what JayzTwoCents did with his C1, check this out. [ame] [/ame] If he can do this anything is possible. Definitley has me inspired to trick out my original C1.
