And herein lies the tragedy of this mouse. Mechanically it's a brilliant piece of kit but it's never worked properly. I hung onto one that I keep in cupboard in the hope one day Corsair will sort out the bugs with this mouse. I've been unable/reluctant to use it because it's so unreliable sadly. :(: Best Wulf

This^^. I did something similar to my silent strafe rgb but with Ducky white keycaps and it looks breathtaking, especially at night. Similar to the guy in the video though the bottom row is problematic and I ended up cobbling some bits together including a 3D printed spacebar. TBH I couldn't careless what they cost. Still cheaper than buying another keyboard and a full uniform purpose made set is priceless. ;): Best Wulf P.s. happy xmas 🎄 everyone

I've got the strafe with silent mx switches and its hands down my new favourite switch. If there were a K70 lux or K95 lux with these switches I'd snap one up for sure. Any of these boards would be great with those aftermarket keycaps your going to release soon. :D: Best Wulf

Whilst I agree about having options is a good thing, I also think that its important to walk before you can run. Remember as companies go Corsair are pretty good at listening to their customers. This thread in itself is testament to that. Best Wulf :D:

I prefer the Strafe font. It's a gaming keyboard, and this type of font lets more light through. Isn't that the point really? As for "grown up gamers" I resemble that remark (the wife would beg to differ :biggrin:) and love the charm of the strafe keyboard, warts and all. Best Wulf :D: P.S. How are those keycaps coming along? Not sure how much longer I can keep this kidney preserved :laughing:

@Santibols Ducky 5 is a nice keyboard and they make their own caps. However, it's great to see Corsair listening to their customers and try provide a solution. Going by feedback on this thread double shot pbt backlits seem to be the forerunner. If this is the case then a partnership with Vortex gear seems to be the most likely way forward as they've already got the mould for these and have the corsair non standard bottom row caps as stated on their Facebook page. These things take time to arrange but it's still going in the right direction. Enjoy your new keyboard bud and maybe check the strafe out later, if this pans out these caps will be highly sought after. ;): Peace Wulf
