  1. I'm running an AMD Ryzen 3900X, Gigabyte Aorus X570 Elite (Bios F37a) and one kit of CMK32GX4M2Z3600C18 (2*16GB) sticks was working fine but I'm facing an uphill battle when I double the RAM. OK, so I know that the CMK32GX4M2Z3600C18 is not on the Gigabyte QVL but I've been running one set (2*16GB) successfully since March 2020 without incident, including using the XMP profile to get the full 3600 MT/s. I recently decided, as the price of RAM had fallen and I was running some more professional GIS apps which love lots of RAM headroom, to buy an identical set from Amazon and duly installed them in ranks 2/4 noticing that there was a minor version difference between the kits. Original kit was V3.31, new kit supplied 23 months later is V3.32. Now I knew going in I might not get the XMP profile to work but even dropping back to JEDEC speeds, my system is very unstable with Chrome crashes, random crashing on other apps and an occasional BSOD. So I'm returning the new kit as it's clearly not compatible OOTB with the built in memory profiles and I don't have the time to fiddle with settings. If I was to go for an upgrade and repurpose my other RAM in other systems, what would you recommend?
