Corsair Crimson,NVIDIA Broadcast Technologies Come to iCUE
Corsair CJ posted an entry in Gaming Headsets,
What You Need:
A PC running Windows equipped with the latest version of CORSAIR iCUE, an NVIDIA RTX graphics card with the latest drivers, an iCUE-compatible audio device, and an internet connection to download the NVIDIA Broadcast technologies plugin.
Setup:
To enable NVIDIA Broadcast in CORSAIR iCUE, navigate to your headset and you'll find a new tab for "NVIDIA Broadcast technologies." click on it and follow the prompts to install.
Once installed, the NVIDIA Broadcast technologies panel will allow you to toggle the feature on and off, adjust mic volume, and the intensity of the noise removal and echo removal setting.
There's also a convenient "Test Mic" section that allows you to record a brief sample of your current settings and play it back over your headset so you can quickly adjust the effects to your preference.
Should you need to completely remove the plugin, go to the iCUE Settings panel and click on "Integrations," click "Uninstall" to initiate the wizard to remove the plugin completely or "repair" if you wish to re-do the installation as a troubleshooting measure.
What headsets are compatible?
All CORSAIR audio devices that utilize the CORSAIR Audio Driver and are supported by the current version of CORSAIR iCUE are compatible with the NVIDIA Broadcast integration, this includes our current lineup of wireless headsets, USB headsets, surround headsets (when connected via their USB adapter), and iCUE-enabled headset stands like the ST100 RGB (for devices connected to the 3.5mm jack in the base of the stand).
I already have NVIDIA Broadcast installed, will enabling NVIDIA Audio Effects SDK result in a conflict?
NVIDIA Broadcast integration with CORSAIR iCUE applies noise and echo removal through the CORSAIR Audio Driver to the microphone input of compatible CORSAIR audio devices. The standalone NVIDIA Broadcast application uses a virtual device driver to apply effects to other devices that may be connected to your system. Using both at the same time is not recommended since it won't improve effect quality, but will use additional system resources.
If you have a need to use both - for example, the camera effects from the Broadcast app and iCUE for audio - we recommend turning off the competing effects in each app.
Closing Thoughts
NVIDIA Broadcast integration brings advanced, AI-powered audio controls to compatible systems using CORSAIR iCUE, making it easier than ever for friends, teammates, and co-workers to hear you clearer than ever. Corsair Crimson,CORSAIR PRO-TIPS: Fun Macros and Keybinds ⌨️
Corsair Jeremy posted a topic in Gaming Peripherals,
Keyboards such as our K100, K55, K95, K57, and all their variants come with 6 designated macro keys that allow for individual binding to any task. However, this does not bar you from using our key assignment software in iCUE to assign other keys/custom macros. Here's some examples below:
1) The "Launch App" key assignment is perfectly suited for quickly launching apps like a calculator, iCUE itself, a web link, or any other program you can find on your setup.
2) The macro key assignment is definitely the most versatile of the key assignments, allowing for easy binding of a single key to a recorded action that takes place on your keyboard or even on your iCUE compatible mouse. I personally use this for screenshots, graphics driver reset (control+shift+windows+B), and any other creative binds that come to mind.
3) The text key assignment allows for quick deployment of pre-written text in iCUE... perfect for spamming the enemy team with "friendly banter" after winning or losing. 😈
4) iCUE also supports a partnership with Voicemod which allows you to turn your keyboard into a soundboard. The Voicemod key assignments allow for you to toggle changing your voice, adding background effects, censor bleeps, and even prerecorded sounds.
5) Finally, the iCUE profile switching key assignment saves you the hassle of having to open iCUE every time you want to switch your lighting and performance profile. With the press of a button, you can switch from a more FPS-focused profile with more aggressive fan curves, to a theatre-style lighting setup that reduces fan noise and dims the lighting of your system.
With the key assignment option on our iCUE supported keyboards, the possibility literally ends with you. We've barely scraped the surface here. As always, these tips and tricks are supported by our latest version of iCUE which is available for download HERE. For these tips and tricks, we used iCUE v4.24.193.
I hope these tips helped inspire you to make your own custom key assignments. Remember there are no limits to your creativity so just do your thing!

Corsair Crimson,CORSAIR PRO-TIPS: Setting RGB Lighting with iCUE
Corsair Jeremy posted a topic in CORSAIR iCUE,
1) LIGHTING LINK 🔗 - lighting link allows you to sync a lighting effect across all your iCUE devices so that they all follow the same lighting logic. You may choose from effects like Type Lighting, which sends out waves of light from the keys you press out to your other iCUE devices, or Temperature, which changes the lighting of your setup to the cooling status of your processor.
2) LAYERS 🌫️ - layers allow you to mix and match the various lighting effects that iCUE offers. For example, you may stack animated lighting effects (ex. type lighting, wave, etc.) on top of static lighting. This way, your device will stay illuminated in your favorite color, while lighting animations may flow throughout your device. The combinations are endless!
3) PROFILES 💾 - with iCUE's ability to toggle between different profiles, you may easily switch between your vibrant, strobing rainbow profile during the day to a stealth profile for nighttime. Profiles aren't just about lighting! You may also have a status oriented profile for monitoring system temperatures, especially during processor or GPU heavy games. You can switch between profiles with just a few mouse clicks, or by pressing the Profile Switch Key on one of our keyboards (K100 RGB, K70 PRO, etc.).
4) THIRD-PARTY DEVICE SUPPORT 🛠️- in iCUE's settings, make sure the "Plugins" setting is enabled. This will allow ICUE to connect to compatible third-party devices, allowing you to control their lighting.
As always, you may download the latest version of iCUE via our Downloads page. For this tip, we used the current latest version - 4.24.193, so our lighting effect variety and animation is fully up-to-date.
Hopefully with these tips and tricks I helped you all find more creative ways to customize the all essential RGB of your gaming setup. Have fun gaming!

Corsair Jeremy,SETUP TOUR: Do you care about the aesthetics of your setup?

Personally, my setup and PC are all white and I care a bit (a lot) about the aesthetics (I even put vinyl on the bezels of my 2 monitors so they can match the rest of my setup). And yes, my PC is RGB decked out, BUT it is also a powerful machine that can game, work, and stream flawlessly 😎
