And here's the Commander Core XT. I was very interested in this little device and what it could (and couldn't) do.
I'm a huge fan of the Commander Pro. The Commander Core with that comes with the Capellix coolers is cool ... but has some limitations that disappointed me. So I was curious what the XT would do.
4-pin RGB Ports: There are six 4-pin RGB ports for Corsair RGB fans. iCUE will auto-detect the fans on there and each fan port is individually configurable as a different fan.
PWM Ports: These are PWM fan ports. Like the CoCo, it is only PWM. DC mode fans will spin at full speed. This isn't something that I, personally, care about but I know it's been an issue with some using the SP-PRO RGB fans.
3-Pin RGB Channel: A 3-pin ARGB channel just like on the CoPro and Lighting Node Pro (NoPro). You can put anything on it - fan hubs, strips, HydroX, etc.
2X Temperature Probes: 2 external temperature probes. For most folks, this is probably plenty. People always seemed to struggle with the 4 sensors on the CoPro and placing them. Two probes is good for a loop - 1 for the coolant temp and 1 for the internal case temp. If, however, you like to have charts and graphs and different measurements here and there (like me) ... the Commander Pro is great. I'm using six different temp sensors in my loop now. So ... it'd be a struggle for me but for most, it's great.
Mystery ID Port: That's what it is. I got nothin'. It's labeled "ID". It has 3 pins - JST-XH, I think. Odd ... I do like Corsair's use of the Molex SL/Latched DuPont connector.
Overall, it's a really interesting device and I'm very intrigued. The only thing that I am struggling with is the temp sensors. I may wind up with a CoCoXT + a CoPro just to get all of my temp sensors.
