Pokemanx
I have had my h100i for a few weeks and it had been working fine until today when upon boot-up the fans in my case started really loud and the h100i was flashing red. When I turned on my monitor the bios came up saying CPU over temp. The bios showed my processor as being at 90 degrees Celsius within about 2 minutes of boot-up. I have not changed anything and have checked all the cables to see if they were plugged in (which they where), can anyone help?
fropwns
I have already filed a claim as my h100i has stopped working. Same thing as you, except I have had my h100i for almost a year, but I booted up my pc, h100i fans go immediately to full throttle and temps started jumping. Usually my h100i keeps the CPU, with no OC, at around 32-38c. It jumped to 50c then to 70c and then to 80c. At that point, it was starting to act sluggish; so, I shut it down. Very frustrating. My guess is that the pump must be out. There are no leaks, the firmware is up to date, the block is nice and snug on the cpu.

Toasted
I would try a different SATA power cable. If it does not help, it's probably a faulty pump. Request an RMA to replace the cooler. Make sure you upload a picture of the invoice as proof of purchase. https://corsair.secure.force.com/
