Naadra
Hi all, I wanted to give the Link system a shot as I enjoy Corsair products and wanted to try something other then the normal fan controller. I have in my system Commander Unit Cooling unit- 4 PWM Corsair A120s running off of it Lightning Unit- standard three LED strips that came with it. H100i- with four PWM A120s AX1200i- So I can see my PSU and the H100i fans etc, but do not see anything in regards to the cooling unit for the extra case fans or the lightning unit. On the Devices screen ( in corsair link ) it shows Corsair Link USB Dongle version 0.9, the AX1200i, the H100i, and a Corsair Hydro USB version 2.0.0. I am a little lost as to what I need at the moment. I looked at the quick start guides and the other PDF files that were made but it seems those are mostly related to the installation and not the software parts. The fans for the cooling node are running as well as the LEDs for the lighting unit are on as well. If some one could nudge me to a thread or post that will help me out I would appreciate it. Or if you know what my problem is directly that would be great too =) THank you!
Figure
Have you made sure to connect the lighting module and the cooling module to the link commander?
Figure
Can you tell me the paths of working you did either as a defined description, a drawing, or pictures?, as to give everyone a start point maybe. :)
Naadra
Everything is connected as it is supposed to be with each module connected to the commander. Not a whole lot to describe it is just one wire from the lighting and cooling units to the commander unit and of course power.
Figure
Udgrade the firmware? Are you using Windows 8.1? Due to beta drivers it could be one source of your problems
Naadra
I am using Windows 7 64 bit, the program I used to set up the kit was the CorsairLink2installer 2.3.4816.0. Other then that I had not done anything else that I can think of. I thought that it included the newer firmware on that install kit but not sure
Toasted
Make sure the Commander Unit is on FW 2.0.9 for it to detect normally in LINK V2. You can also plug the H100i as well as the AXi PSU to the Commander unit. Though the H100i requries a firmware update to 1.07 before it can be detected when plugged into the Commander unit. Naadra
Thanks all, I got everything up and running. It was the firmware update I was missing. I thought the latest commander program would have had it but I was wrong. Everything is working great for now =)
