Austinach
Hey so i got a 2100 today and i plugged it in using the latest software/drivers(not beta), and whenever i turn surround sound on, everything gets really echoey and tinny and after i stop the sound i hear a white noise wich i have to turn the volume rocker up then back down to fix. i had a 1500 (v1) before this and everything worked fine on there. also, my mic wont stop playing back sound to my headset, even tough i turned it off in the software. (OS: windows 7 64 bit) so i tried the beta drivers and it did not fix any problems :\ Help appreciated, Thanks.
Austinach
So i tired the beta drivers, did not fix. i tried restarting my pc, did not fix. also i for got to mention that whenever a sound plays, there is a slightly loud white noise (even if the audio is muted) and the mic keeps playing back into my headset and is SUPER annoying. (also note my 1500's worked fine but i was using the 1.1.1 drivers and when i tired using the latest drivers on my old 1500's it did the same thing)
Toasted
The microphone loopback is enabled automatically, unfrotuantely you cannot turn it off unless the microphone is muted. (the upright position) The tinny and echoey effect is due to Dolby Prologic IIx and Dolby Headphone being enabled together. (5.1 Surround)
Austinach
If i am correct both are NOT enabled, this is what it looks like when 7.1 is enabled: http://gyazo.com/c72ef6e90f2ff6a48bad27a53b52fda0
Toasted
That is correct, Dolby Prologic IIx and Dolby Headphone are both enabled when its set at 2.0 Stereo and 5.1 Surround. When in 7.1 Surround, Dolby Headphone is only enabled. You can do is to try and adjust the EQ settings and see if that helps.
