ChuckinSC
I'm upgrading my system using my 800D case. The new ASUS Sabertooth Z87motherboard includes SATA 3- 6.0 Gb/s cables. It will be a lot easier to use the Corsair SATA cables that I now have installed in the case. The purchase of the 800D was 10/2009. My question is whether the installed cables are sufficient - are they SATA 3 - 6.0 compliant or should I rework the cableing? Thanks....
Toasted
If the backplane are 4 individual pieces, It is probably a SATA II 3.0Gbp/s instead of SATA II 6.0Gbp/s. I would take a look at one cable to see if it is a SATA II or SATA III cable.
