chad711
I just bought a H100i and cannot manually adjust the fan speed in Corsair Link, nor can I see the H100i fans in the GUI. I am on Windows 8.1. Cannot believe the massive amount of issues a CPU cooler software is having with a OS... Can anyone please tell me what I should try? The only fan related item I see in the GUI Is MSI System Fan and I cannot change the speed of this either. However I do not think that is the H100i fans.... Thanks Edit: I Noticed when I look at my version I have 2.5.5146 but I see 2.5.5145 is the beta. Do I have the wrong version?

dburne
The software does not work with Windows 8.1, they are working on that hence why the have the beta version out now for testing - based on that discussion thread some are having success, some are not. I installed my new H100i in a complete new system build the week of the 16th, am just letting it run at default ( and it is doing a good job cooling) I guess, until they get it worked out for Windows 8.1. I am waiting till the official release < unless I eventually get impatient? :).
chad711
Haha those specs listed for me are so very old! I'll update all that next. My concern with the fans not adjusting to me tells me they don't adjust on loads either. When I put 100% load on my computer I don't hear the fans spinning up faster. My CPU at load has great temps so maybe that's why? As a end user aka consumer here I'm a little taken back from the idea this software is in beta for w8.1. Love corsair products but this doesn't seem like the corsair I know. Edit: I updated to the correct beta version but nothing is fixed still. Edit 2: specs updated

I am seeing the same, so far under gaming I don't hear any change in fan speeds but my core temps are only in mid 30's or so - highest single core temp I have seen while gaming was 42c. Idles in the mid 20's.
