itm
My new K30 keyboard doesn't seem to work when plugged into my Aten CS-1734 4-port USB KVM switch - no lights on the keyboard, and no recognition by any of the connected PCs. It only works when connected directly to a USB port on a PC. Is this a known problem?
Toasted
Its possible the KVM switch is not compatible with the keyboard. I'm not quite sure if the issue is known.
itm
Its possible the KVM switch is not compatible with the keyboard. It looks that way. Given the cost of replacing the KVM switch it looks like my best option is to return the keyboard and find one that works with the KVM.
grabz0r
I have a similar problem with the k30 and my aten cs682. The lights on the keyboard are working in my case but the device is not detected by the OS.

The lights on the keyboard are working in my case but the device is not detected by the OS. In the end I plugged the keyboard into the USB port on the KVM (i.e. not the keyboard port) via a USB hub. It's not a perfect solution but at least the connected PCs recognise it.
Inheritance
the keyboard usb port most likely doesnt supply enough power to drive the K30
