smasher03
I have been reading on the forums for some time now and decided to make an account. Out of everything i had read i still haven't been able to answer this question. If by chance by h110i pump would fail what does the PC do? Is there a built in "fail safe" so that when the temps get to high it shuts down? If there isn't can i set one just in case? Thanks Smasher Have a Merry Christmas
wa3pnt
There is an RPM signal from the H100i Pump that attaches to the CPU Fan Header on your motherboard. This simulates a CPU cooling fan signal. If the H100i should fail, the motherboard will loose that signal and should shut your computer down (unless you've disabled this function in the BIOS). kwisatzhaderach
If you are using Corsair Link, then you can set what ever fail safe you want. Turn off the computer, set fans to 100%, or even email you. Most newer chips throttle down, so it would be a nonevent anyway.
