Angelus101
Hello :) I just bought the Raptor K50 with the backlighting, so far i'm fairly impressed with the keyboard. I like how the keys feel and seems to be worth the price and i have no major complaints other than this. All the keys feel nice and they're not loud and pretty responsive, except for the spacebar, whenever i type there's a click sound to the key. I've noticed aswell if i gently touch the spacebar it will make a plasticy click sound like two bits of plastic are rubbing together, it's most prominent when i do it on the left side of the key. I'm just wondering if anyone else has this aswell? It's extremely annoying as it's loud enough i can hear it over sound when i'm gaming. As my thumb tends to be resting on the left side of the spacebar i hear this clacky sound every few seconds. It's just majorly distracting. With how good the rest of the keys are, i can't believe this is intentional?
Toasted
Have you tried removing the spacebar and putting it back on?
Angelus101
I'm not 100% sure how to get the key off, and don't really want to break it as i've only just got it. I'm pretty much a beginner when it comes to gaming keyboards ^^ Also would removing keys void warranty?
Toasted
I'm not sure if the clicky sound is normal as the K50 uses rubber domes instead of mechanical switches. The differences is the space bar uses stabilizers and the switch pushes it back in place while rubber dome has metal wire thing which pushes the spacebar up (something like that) which might be causing the noise.
