Littlejets Posted December 20, 2013 Share Posted December 20, 2013 I booted up my system this morning and the drive has not been detected in bios does this mean it is failed now it has been working fine since i bought it and now it stops. i have tried the drive in a usb caddy and it doesnt detect on the ssd software or by windows anymore i think it is in warranty how can i check this and resolve this ? is there a way to retrieve my data off this too? Toasted Posted December 21, 2013 Share Posted December 21, 2013 If the BIOS cannot detect the SSD and you have tried a different SATA data cable, motherboard port and on a different computer it would be nearly impossible to recover the data.
