SPACEPISTOL
My Vengeance 2000 headset is causing some games (League of Legends and Planetside 2) not to load completely after patching. I know it is my headset, because when I unplug them, the game will actually load. I have had this problem for a while, but I realized it was my headset when I updated to Windows 8.1 and my headset was causing almost every program to have issues. I updated to the drivers for 8.1 and was really excited to be able to use my headset again, but now I can't :(: I need to point out that occasionally the games will load when the headset is being used, but it usually will not. Toasted
Does the issue occur when you are using the generic Microsoft audio drivers?
SPACEPISTOL
If I remember correctly, the generic Microsoft audio drivers plus the vengeance 2000 was causing almost nothing to work at all. I can give it a try though. *EDIT* Well, I think just using the generic drivers worked. It's a shame, but it will work for now. Thanks!
Toasted
Do you have any crashlogs for the games you are having issues with? It may point to something which is causing the issue. E.g. outdated things.
jmacguire
Also, try running those games with their shortcuts set to "run as adminstrator." This solved issues for people that could not get the Vengeance 2000's volume wheel to work originally.
