Ecosse Posted December 18, 2013 Share Posted December 18, 2013 Hey, its been a while since iv been here and ihave a question i run a gigabyte mobo ga-x58a-ud7 with a i7 930 socket 1366 now i ordered a GIGABYTE Z87X-OC LGA 1150 with i7 4770K and i just realized can i use my h100i on this new mobo cause it only says socket 1155,1156,1366 and 2011 for intel and not 1150 or do i have to order another backplate and bracket ??? grts me Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Don't worry socket 1150 and 1155 backplate holes are exactly the same. So if a unit is compatible with LGA 1155 then it must be compatible with 1150.
