TwistedM
My windows 7 is freezing on the load screen whenever my Vengeance 2100 headset is on and plugged in. When I unplug the dongle, or turn off the headset it will boot fine. Any suggestions?
Toasted
Load screen as in the Starting Windows screen or the POST screen? Latest BIOS? Tried a different USB port? What motherboard are you using?
TwistedM
Freezes on the load screen as I said. Like when the windows symbol is being formed out of the colors. Tried several different USB ports both USB 2.0 and 3.0. Motherboard is ASUS P8Z68-V PRO Mobo hasn't been flashed in a while, but its rather new and its unlikely that should cause any conflict. andyvee
does it do it if you uninstall the Corsair software and just use default Windows driver ?
TwistedM
I think so yes, but I'll have to double check and update later. I did a lot of troubleshooting uninstalled the driver completely for a clean install, tried to run it without the control panel on startup. Uninstalled video card drivers and reinstalled them. And it will startup fine with the corsair drivers installed, but not if the headset is on.
