WR4P-TP
Hi, I'm having a problem with my ax860 power cord. Actually it is little shorter in length, compare to tx650v2 i have. So cable is kind of gliding in air as compare to the tx650 power cord, which can reach the ups very easily. So is it ok to use tx psu's power cord with ax psu? or they are specificlly ment to work with the particular psu only. I don't think there should be any problem, but still it would be grat if experts give it a go.-)
JKeifer
You're talking about the AC power cord that connects the computer to the wall outlet? If so, the answer is yes.

Tech Tweaker
Should be no problem. I used my TX750's (Version 1.0) power cord with an HX620 and an HX750 without any problems.

WR4P-TP
I'm from India, as suggested above I swapped the ac power cord and my system is running fine (no fire and smoke).-P But if there is any concern regarding the safety of psu then please let me know. Corsair Psu's here comes with eu or uk type ac cords with rectangular plugs though in India we mostly use rounded plugs. I'm using it with belkin surge protector adapter that supports rectangular power plugs.-)
Yellowbeard
Look at the cables and see if there is writing on them. Are they the same overall thickness and wire gauge? You should be OK because both of your units are close to the same wattage. Just be sure that the cable you are using now is not significantly smaller than the original.
