Steiner-KD
I have a new build in this case and love it, cleanest build I've ever done. Now I'm planning on switching to water cooling though and wonder who here have experience doing wc builds with this case? What I'm mainly interested in is options for mounting the pump and reservoir (or possibly combo unit). What existing holes works best, do I ahve to make my own? (Going with an all EK build, using DCP 4.0 pump and X-res 3 reservoir). What is the thickest rad anyone have successfully mounted that works (want to go with the EK 360 XTX, but don't think I can squeeze it in unless I put the fans on the roof outside). I think with add-ons the 5.25" bays can be used to hang a res, but as far as the pump goes I'm not sure (is side/roof of HD cages a possibility?). Any experience, advice and pictures are very welcome!
wytnyt
any case specifically supports a custom water build simply because there are so many variations ,however being that the 750 supports corsair hydro's thats a good start. if the case supports 3x 120 fans then it would support a 360 radiator while keeping the fans inside also anytime a custom loop is done tho, custom modding will almost certainly be needed, if a user doesnt feel up to slicing and dicing, then a custom water loop really isnt for them.. i just checked and the 750d will accommodate 3x 120mm fans so a 360 rad should be a easy mount hope this helps... Steiner-KD
I know it can do a slim 360 (~30mm), and a push-pull slim works to (already have the H100i in the top), the rad issue is with beefier ones like the EK 360 XTX (64mm thick, so with fans on the inside that would be 90mm and we're over the motherboard already). What I am looking for is more experiences and solutions people have had with mounting the other bits (pump and reservoir) for some ideas to play around with before purchasing things. I've seen a Koolance mount that attached directly to the HD cage (the two holes front/top of the HD cage) and there are a few items to use holes in the 5.25" bays. I hope to see some pics of peoples own solutions for inspiration.

Steiner-KD
Some, but not enough, I did see pictures though of attempts to use a 60mm rad in the top and that was jammed in so tight with the mobo you couldn't open the ram tabs or access the 8-pin CPU power which can't be healthy (so I guess I will have to go with the 47mm XT rad instead which should just fit with fans). I will keep looking but hoped people here would have their own experiences to share. Any thoughts on mounting a rad in the roof with the fans mounted on the outside (preferably in a shroud for looks)?
wytnyt
it could be tastefully done but i think the only drawback on going this way is it may look a bit odd being the 750 is such a tall case already but...,its all in what you like that matters personally id just go with a thinner rad as cooling would hardly be affected...
