Synnx
So I bought a Corsair Vengeance 2000 before 2100 was released, im just wondering why it isnt listed on the website any more in audio here: http://www.corsair.com/us/pc-computer-audio/gaming-headsets.html Im looking on the forums seeing lots of people having problems with this version, is something wrong with this headset? what is the problem? Also why when in the control panel when I select 5.1 surround and enable the dolby digital thing sounds are missing when music is playing, is that an issue with my headset or me just being dumb? Thanks.
Toasted
The V2000 is probably discontinued which is why it isn't listed. This is a support forum, so people here only post about issues with the headset. The last question is not an issue with the headset or you being "dumb". Administrators Technobeard Posted December 15, 2013 Administrators Share Posted December 15, 2013 I haven't heard that it's gone EOL, but the V2100 is its successor.
sandstorm1
Why was it discontinued? Is something wrong with the headset? poor design caused many headsets to crack and eventually break.
Synnx
poor design caused many headsets to crack and eventually break. Would I be able to contact the seller of this headset and get the 2100 if I send this one back? I dont feel confident with a product that isnt even listed on the website anymore ):. Thanks, sandstorm.

I'll ask about it being removed from the website, but it's been out almost 2 years. As for the cracking, it was fixed a while ago. My Vengeance 2000's have never cracked. Yeah I bought them about 10 days before the release of the 2100, didnt want to wait any longer for a new headset, should these ones be completely okay if I ordered them on October 1st? they havent cracked on me yet and I really hope they dont, I love this headset, I bought them off Amazon too. Thanks Technobeard.
