TBY
Hi all, I just bought CMX8GX3M4A1333C9 memory modules to upgrade my ram from 4GB (4x1GB) to 8GB, but I'm having some problems. It seems like my motherboard (Intel DX48BT2) is not so happy with more than 4GB of ram. With 8GB [x][x][x][x] or 6GB [x][x][x][-] my system is very laggy/slow. And when I check task manager, "system-interrupts" use up to 50-60% CPU. When I only use 2 modules, 4GB [x][-][x][-], everything is fine. But that, obviously, is not what I bought them for... I also noticed that, when 6GB or 8GB of ram is installed, the CPU-fan (seems) to be running faster. I'm using Windows 7 64bit and my CPU is a Q9550 (FSB1333). Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong ? Motherboard restrictions, or settings to be changed ? Any help would be much appreciated !! Greetings, TBY
