jlhawn
I have had my AX1200 for 2 years now and it is just fantastic, I hope it last for 5 more years as I really don't need a AX1200i with the software stuff. I read you can use the AX1200i without the software and cables that use up usb ports on your motherboard, maybe without the software the fan won't be such a pain in the rear with it's automatic monitoring. Pennyboy
I own the AX1200i and my first one was replaced as it would randomly power off, it also suffered from a whine noise. The noise was strange it wouldn't always happen. Anyway my replacement AX1200i has been mint, no power off issues and it is completely quiet and suffers from no annoying whining noises. Either PSU will be good for you, I prefer the AX1200i purely because I am running a red and black theme, I don't even have the corsair link connected up. TBH I don't think the clicking is common but you read about it a lot because you never hear from people without problems. Anyways I can tell you that I have a AX1200i and it is running great, no clicking or whining.
