Brokerage Fee - Fed up with UPS and Corsair

I don't know why Corsair uses UPS :(

they're known for their insane c.o.d fees..

every RMA I've done to corsair, I've manned up paid the fees because I didn't want to wait. But there was no way I was gonna pay the $130 brokerage fee I got this week from RMA'ing my SP2200 speakers. It was an advanced RMA and I was shipped a SP2500 as a replacement. Since Friday, customer support told me not to pay the fees as they will notify UPS to bill Corsair instead. Corsairs excuse was that they notified UPS International but it takes awhile for UPS Canada to get the info. It's now Wednesday morning and I still don't have my package.

I told the UPS delivery guy that comes everyday to check when he brings the package back to the warehouse because they should have been notified since Friday that the C.O.D fees were covered. But instead my tracking number says I refused the package and wanted to send it back to shipper

Am very annoyed with UPS. Over the past year I've been victim to over $700 of just brokerage fees that I wasn't supposed to pay in the first place

PLEASE USE USPS/CANADA POST

-edit

My ticket number is 6264865

Is there anyway to escalate this? :(

I still have 2 more faulty SP2200's to RMA.. Hopefully the procedure is faster next time

Can someone from the sales department or customer service please contact UPS? They keep telling me to get Corsair to contact them about the C.O.D fees because they need to be paid and they haven't received a single word from the sender (Corsair).

Okay now it's just starting to get ridiculous. Each day 8am in the morning UPS calls me to tell me if I wanted to package shipped to the same address or do I want to change it. Each day I ask them "do I need to pay for the C.O.D fees or is Corsair paying for it" and they respond "the shipper corsair said please do not bill the receiver but it says nothing about C.O.D fees." I then continue to tell them each and everyday to notify the shipper because they're responsible for the fees which UPS writes a note to Corsair and we hang up. Then I call Corsair to tell them to contact UPS which they either reply for me to continue waiting or that it'll be solved and paid for within 6-8 hours. No one seems to be responding to my tickets or this forum so I guess no one cares.. I wonder how Corsair is labelled "best customer service" when they refuse to reply to half the posts. I guess it's one of those best if they actually reply to you or best if it is working kind of things...

I've escalated this through CS to alert them to the issue.

In regards to your ticket, you re-opened it just over an hour before we closed yesterday, so they probably hadn't seen it yet, and we don't "refuse to reply to half of the posts". You created 4 posts in 36 hours during the busiest support time of the year. Please be patient, we're only human.

Thank you. And sorry, it's just that I've seen others posts answered long after I first posted this thread. Since this is an advanced RMA, how much longer do I have to ship back the old speakers before I get charged on my credit card?

It's been almost 3 weeks since the package has been shipped. I called UPS again today and they said that they are still waiting for a comment from Corsair. They apparently have NOT received the invoice. Please contact UPS and get this sorted out asap. When the invoice is sent to them, tell them to ship the package back to the original address and not to ask for C.O.D fees again... As they're having trouble understanding that the brokerage fees are covered.

I'm starting to think theres a mixup with the tracking number. It's supposed to be 1Z966E656****88034

I called in to UPS again today and they said never once were they contacted and that they weren't sent an invoice. Several invoices have been sent said Corsair when I called up, and they even resent it. Please get this sorted out asap

Yes but UPS keeps demanding a brokerage fee

i called up to corsair customer service and they told me 2 weeks ago that they had already sent the invoice so I do not have to pay it. But it's a mis-communication somewhere which results in ME having to wait 2 weeks and calling UPS everyday to wonder why they haven't received the invoice and calling corsair to have them tell me to wait 8 hours more each day
