Dmlk
Hi All I have just installed my H100i and the only issue I seem to have is as follows: While the USB header is connected to the motherboard, BIOS screen takes about 10/15 seconds and then about a 2/3mins on the windows boot screen. If I unplug the USB header then and all works as it should and take only 20/30 seconds from boot to desktop. I have the corsair link program installed and it is picking up the values for the H100i. (I didn't know it would also pick up my GFX and disk drives etc..) I changed the LED colour and it works correctly as it has saved the colour I choose. The only other USB devices I have plug in is a logitech 900 webcam and a logitech G5 mouse. What could be causing this slow boot time 1as I am sure this is not right? JKeifer
Something about how your motherboard is attempting to initialize the H100i's USB device is causing a delay. Have you tried playing with your motherboard's USB settings like disabling legacy devices or the like or ignoring during the boot sequence (note: you may loose the ability to enter BIOS setup if your keyboard is USB)? Can you change USB headers on your motherboard? Motherboard BIOS and USB drivers up-to-date? Good luck and let us know what you find.
wa3pnt
I would also look into your Boot Settings in the BIOS. If you have enabled booting from USB devices, your BIOS could be checking to see if the USB devices are bootable items. RodeoGeorge
Dmlk
Thanks for the reply guys, The H100i was perfectly working fine as I worked out that it was due to a faulty sata cable to my DVD drive. This was not showing in windows and thus causing my PC to have a slow boot up. I have only one last question about the H100i. The washers that come in the box does not fit the screws so current I am doing: Screw > Case > Rad but I wanted to do: Screw > Washer > Case > Rad Is this an issue with the washers? JKeifer
Are you saying the diameter of the screw is too big for the washer or with the washer the screw length is too short? It's no problem setting it up the way you have it in any event. Congrats on locating the bad SATA cable!

Check the install manual. The washers are for the short screws is you are 'hanging' the rad.
Dmlk
Thanks for the replies again guys. I have checked the install manual and I have used the correct screws. There is only one type of short screw and one type of wash that comes in the box. What I meant about the washers is that I cannot put the short screw through the washer so that when I hang my Rad from the top of the case (750D) I has more secure holding. I would perfer to use the correct washer but it feels like the wrong washer was included. As the 750D has the rubber holes I would like to use the washer so that the screw head does not clamp down through the rubber. (Hope you understand what I mean) cheers
Dmlk
Has anyone else had the issue that the diameter of the screw is too big for the washer? Whilst it may be okay for some people to not use the washers I want to use the washers but cannot as the diameter will not fit through the hole in the washers that came with my H100i.
