Aabohax
Hello.. So yeah, just wondering, is my h100i ok? I bougth it 26.11.2013, installed it and since then it has make interesting sound. About the temps, i have i5-3570k with it and wont go under ~40c, even when downclocked to 1.6Ghz. I have replaced thermal compounds to MX2, done it again like 3 or 4 times now and im pretty sure its not about it, since it had same temps with stock whatever thermal stoffs. Radiator part is installed in the top of the case, and it has stock fans pushing air througt it. <-- video of it, on video there is no any fans spinning, other than Gpu fans which are spinning on lowest bossible settings. So, is it normal sound?
JKeifer
Your ~40C is it at idle or under load? I am assuming it's at idle but please confirm just to be sure. If it's at idle that is a bit high but depends on what your ambient air temp is. If the 40C is at idle, how hot does it get when you load your system? What's the speed of the pump/CPU fan in bios? It should be around 2200 rpm. The noise was hard for me to detect but it didn't sound abnormal.
Aabohax
Downclocked to 1.6Ghz and idle, ambient tempereute is around 22c. Under load it can go over 75c even on stock 3.3/3.4Ghz clocks. Pump is running around ~2250. I dont get idea of getting cooler like this, since it makes more noise than my old (and alot cheaper) aircooler.
