RMA Question about CM2X1024-8500C5D

Hi all,


I have 2 ram sticks with the following information:










They are giving me BSOD and the MEMTEST failed even when I used only 1 RAM stick at a time. I want to RMA them but on the Select Part Number I don't know what to choose. Whenever I fill in CM2X1024-8500C5D I get 14 results. Which one am I supposed to choose?

Goemi, what MB and CPU are you using? The reason I ask is that if BOTH sticks are giving errors , that is an indication you may have other problems besides failing memory. It's just about impossible for both sticks to be bad at the same time.


Are these new sticks?

No worries, just choose any kit that is the closest.Then in the comments box or title let them know that the part number wasn't listed and also state which one you have. They can change it internally.


BTW, That kit is no longer in production , so they will let you know what your options would be for replacements.
