Corsair SP2500 Subwoofer Doesn't Work

Well, after owning my SP2500 for only a few months, it appears the subwoofer has failed. It worked perfectly fine up until a few days ago, and now, nothing.

I though it might be a software issue since I just switched to Windows 8, so I tried plugging in my phone. Nope, still no bass or sound from the subwoofer whatsoever.

If it makes any difference, I have them plugged into an ASUS Xonar DX, and am running Windows 8 like I mentioned before. The speakers still work perfect, but the sub doesn't produce any sound, from both my computer or when I hook my phone up.

So if anybody has any ideas that would be great. I'm hoping it's just something I'm overlooking but I'm fairly certain my sub is dead.

I have turned the sub up nearly full, and made sure Late night is not enabled. I've even tried switching late night on and off, nothing. Bass from games and music is being fed to the system, it's just trying to be put out by the speakers, the sub is literally not doing anything.

Guess it must be dead, then, seeing as my phone or PC both don't have the sub producing sound. How do I go about getting an RMA?

Sigh, getting a little frustrated. The fact that I have had to create 3 separate accounts with corsair just to deal with this is ridiculous. One on their main site, another forum account, and a separate account for their support. Why not one account for all 3? This took extra time of mine to fix a problem with their product.

I'm also not thrilled about the fact that I have to pay shipping for this RMA. Shipping these speakers/subwoofer is going to cost a considerable amount. If this was only a headset with a $10 shipping cost, I wouldn't really care. But this is going to cost a lot. The fact that I spent $200 on these speakers and only owned them for a few months, never turned the volume to full, and used for maybe a total of 50 hours, no more than that. Their product fails after only that much use, and I'm expected to pay money out of my pocket for a manufacturing mistake?

My friends Vengeance 1500 also just failed. He was without a headset for weeks, because of how long the RMA took. I am not looking forward to this.

I get this is how it works, I've ordered many things, but I doubt I will be ordering many more from Corsair at this point.
