wiseguy001
I just received my C70 as part of a new build and eagerly await my interior components for installation. Upon examination of the case, I note that the power button feels different than the reset button when pressing it. The reset button has the traditional hard click feel to it whereas the power button has more of a soft key feel with no click. The reset has an audible click associated with it whereas the power button has no audible sound, but there is a slight feel to something making contact. Is this normal for the C70, or should I initiate an RMA? I don't want to go through the complete installation process to find out afterwards. Thanks for any assistance that you can provide. wiseguy001
After figuring out how to remove the front panel, I verified that the switches behave the same (both click), so the behavior difference lies in the plastic buttons within the cover. The reset switch appears to swing inward from the top when I press it, with no resistance aside that given by the switch, whereas the power button appears to have a distributed resistance within the button itself. After pressing it a few times (with the cover removed from the case), I reattached the cover and now the power button switch clicks like the reset switch. I now return to the front porch, eagerly anticipating the remainder of my dream machine components! :D:
