kavonkin
As stated in the title, I have a sabertooth z77 with CMZ16GX3M2A1600C10. they are not supposed to be compatible, but i did some tinkering in the bios and got it to work. am i getting full function from my memory, or should i invest in memory that is compatible with my mobo? Yellowbeard
Those modules are fully compatible with Z77 boards. Where did you hear that they were not? http://www.corsair.com/en/blog/carbide-series-200r-sub-1000-gaming-pc-build
kavonkin
i couldn't find it in the memory compatibility list that asus provides on their site. i just figured it wasn't compatible. how do you know they are?
Yellowbeard
We've tested extensively with the Z77 chipset and a variety of boards from the major manufacturers. I've run that kit in my personal Z77 Sabertooth. And, the MOBO manufacturers memory lists are typically incomplete and out of date. All of our current DDR3 memory works perfectly with Z77 based boards.
