Having concerns I purchased this

Hello everyone,

I would say I'm possibly above average with PC use but find this product pretty badly supported and having doubts why I purchased this.

It refuses to detect or allow a preffered music player for FLAC files with Adroid.

The Corsair App looks like something from the 70's.

The latest saga is the latest firmware update, very little info what the improvements are apart from 'Build Media Server library now' ability which tells me this can take hours. No information anywhere that anyhting is happening or how long is left.

If I'm being thick can soemone let me know where I'm going wrong with this product.

Can you explain this a little better please? The drive shouldn't detect anything. Your device should detect the drive. And then as long as the media player your using supports the file type there should be no problems playing it. Or am I missing something here?

I can connect to the drive OK with both devices (galaxy tab 2 and note) and browse files.

My only issue is when playing flac format the Corsair app refuses to give me music player choice. My preferred player being PlayerPro Music Player. I know for a fact that this plays flac as I've tried files from SD card with no problems.

Ive even tried an alternative ROM and the Corsair app still behaves the same, I select `open file with', the app screen flashes and then nothing.

I agree it could be hardware and just wondered if this is a common issue. I've tried the Corsair music player but the sound isn't great and it has tendency to cut the track short, I'm also dropping connection pretty regular as well.

I have concerns as purchased eyetv TV receiver that went back to Amazon after a couple of months as felt more designed for Apple and Microsoft was a rushed after thought as it failed and failed on Windows 7 so is the Corsair Voyager Air also more dedicated to Apple rather than Android.
