lawn_dart
Hi all, Need a bit of help here. I have the USB Vengeance 1500 set and the 2.0.1.6. version of the software and have been unable to get the 7.1 surround to work correctly in BF4. The previous software version seemed to work. Certain sounds in game aren't even there, and others (firing pistols and rifles, etc.) are very muffled. Can't figure out what I might be doing wrong. Toasted
Have you tried the BETA v2.0.19 drivers? Have you checked your BF4 settings and made sure the settings are set to HI-Fi and Surround?
lawn_dart
Thanks for replying. I haven't tried the beta drivers yet, but I have made sure that Hi-Fi and Surround are selected in BF4. I'll d/l the beta and see if that fixes it.
Toasted
Also try turning on Dolby Headphone. It may help. (Press the power button to enable it).

TylerAD
I would use Hi-Fi and Surround for the settings within battlefield. The windows settings/ corsair v1500 in the windows audio should also be set for 7.1 ( not sure if the speakers should be set to full range or not for the options). TylerAD
Does anyone else notice a slight echo ( like in a tile room ) with all the sounds within the 7.1 mode? Even in outside scenes it seems echo'ed as well... any thoughts.
