Nuclear101
Hi all, So recently I have built a fully watercooled system in a Corsair Obsidian 750D chassis, and want to invest in a Corsair Link system, but I have no clue after looking at Corsair's website on how to configure one. This is what I want to use it on: 10x Corsair SP 120 High Performance 1x Monitor Pump Temperature 1x Monitor GPU Power and Temperature 1x Memory Temperature 1x HDD Temperature Ambient Air Temperature Lighting for System Any input is appreciated. Thanks, Nuclear101
wytnyt
is your water cooler a corsair? if not the link will work but wont monitor everything you mentioned...
Nuclear101
My water cooler isn't a H series cooler, as I have built a custom loop. So how do I set up the Link and what can't I monitor? Thanks, Nuclear101
wytnyt
you can monitor the cpu,gpu and control your fans and monitor the hdd. of course you mentioned ambient temp and that of course must be done with a thermal probe in which the link comes with 3 probes... im not sure of the water temp since it isnt a corsair hydro but even that could be done with a thermal probe... Nuclear101
So which modules and how many of those modules should I buy? Thanks for helping me so much by the way. --Nuclear101

peanutz94
You also can't monitor memory temperature unless you have the AirFlowPro and compatible memory modules. Dominator or Plaitinum Modules. You would also need the cable kit to go with it.
Funambulus
CorsairLink can monitor Most hard drive temperatures, some Intel SSD's dont register temps in CorsairLink. Did you want to monitor the Pump temperature or the actually water/coolant temperature? Depending on your configuration you can purchase a T-fitting and get a coolant temp sensor, that has a G1/4 plug and then plug it into a temp sensor on the Cooling Node. As for GPU power and temperature you can use the GPU NODE, it works as a pass through for you 6+2 Pin cables, and will monitor power consumption. Corsair Link by default should register temps of your GPU's. Ambient temp is as simple as putting one of the provided temp sensors somehwere in your case, preferably away from any fans or heatsinks to give a true ambient temp.
