GMan80
Carbide Series 300R Fans Hi there I have a motherboard (Z87-D3HP) with following fan connectors: 1 x CPU fan header 3 x system fan headers 1 x CPU_OPT fan header My CPU Fan is top mounted. My case only has the default 2 fans, I am going to purchase some additional fans (I don't want to go crazy at this stage and don't have a massive ammount of money to spend) just to do try a little overclocking. I was thinking of just adding 2 as I only have one graphics card. Can you please advise me what would be best for airflow, which way to fit them, if to go 140mm or 120mm and if I should in fact add more than the 2 I was thinking ? Also should I get PWM fans in this setup and which fans should connect to which connectors (ie is the CPU_OPT fan for a case fan ?) Thanks Fan Idiot
