H100 fan controller compatibility issues

So to cut a long story short here, I've been through 3 H100's from ocUK, and they have all had the same issue. The fan controller doesn't work. No lights on the CPU block, and no response when pressing the profile button.

Am I correct in assuming the H100 has compatibility issues with certain PSU's?

I have a Corsair TX650, and as silly as this sounds, is there an in compatibility between the H100 and this PSU? because the fan controller will not work, yet when I send it back to ocUK for replacement, it works fine for them.

I can use the cooler fine by connecting the fans directly to the motherboard.

Whats the deal?

No, that is not correct. It's impossible actually.

I find it hard to believe they didn't find anything wrong. To be safe i would go ahead and have Corsair replace it for you . This way there is no testing, they will just send you a new unit. I'm not saying OCUK is doing this, but it's not uncommon for places like that to say they tested good to avoid having to replace it for you. We see it here all the time.

I've had it replaced twice already. I really don't want to have to replace it again. I was definitely sent a different unit each time as each one was sealed when I got it. And each one showed slightly different symptoms.

First one worked when I first set it up bit after some testing, the fan controller just died and the fans would not spin. The second one worked until I pressed the profile button and then it died. The fans would still spin like normal though. The one I have now did the same thing. Worked until I pressed the profile button and the simply died. Fans still spin though. I have every reason to believe that of corsair replace it, the same thing will happen again.
