Security/privacy of data on return of SSD

I may be putting this in the wrong place but sm obrn to suggestion for better alternative. I have an RMA for a failing SSD but have reservations about returning it without any of method of assuring that it has been wiped clean of my highly sensitive data. Can someone comment on Corsair's protocol for assuring the privacy of any data on the drive should they decide to replace it and then later repair and/or just trash it. Additionally, it has been difficult to determine how to provide them a credit card number so they can just go ahead and ship replacement drive.

Hi everette, just log back in to your ticket and where it says to add a comment, you can ask about an advanced replacement. Or if you have the ability to calling CS on the toll free number would be best. They would be able to get your advanced replacement set up on the spot.

As far as their methods of wiping drives, I am unsure of. This is something else that you can inquire about and in the mean time I'll see if I can get an answer for you also.

Contacted Customer support on the 27th and got an Express RMA authorization number. They shipped replacement drive today (12/3). Customer Service wasn't familiar with data security on returned items but assured me they take precautions. Not sure that makes me feel much better. Maybe I should just put in oven at 375 for 10 minutes, that would prob do the trick...
