Hiijinx
Hey guys, I have this RAM and after almost a year of games crashing, I have been advised that I should "Downclock" my RAM to a lower speed, to see if this helps the problem. With the XMP profile (which I don't really see an option to disable in my BIOS, its either ON, or AUTO) it is set to 1866 @ 9-10-9-27 . I have set my RAM to 1600 and run memtest which it passed, but should I alter the timings at all? Been looking at CPU-z and it only lists up to 1333 timings, then jumps to XMP so am left with a gap. My board is an Asrock Z68 Extreme 7 Gen 3 with i5 2500k Thanks in advance, Jinx

Run CPUz and there should be a SPD table for 1600mhz . If not then I would leave well enough alone since they pass memtest. But even if you wanted to try and tighten the timings some just test with memtest after each adjustment. Edit: Sorry I missed that the SPD table wasn't there.
